PRAND is a French ready-to-wear brand, created in 2004 by Philippe PERRET. After a traditional course in business school, this highly passionate of visual arts and fashion managed to convert a modest end of studies project into a genuine professional adventure.
Since, each of the new collection was the opportunity for PRAND to refine its identity. The universe of the mark reflects the creator’s one, who has been as much influenced by the design and the contemporary art, than by the cartoons, the American series of the 80 ' S, the first game consoles or even the electronic music.
PRAND is a “streetwear” graphic mark, with some perpetual fresh ideas that enables it to always fit with the current trends.
Its media coverage enables it to target a very large audience, largely composed of townsmen aged from 15 to 30 years, who pay attention to their look.
Its brand awareness has been also largely driven by a clever marketing people strategy. Indeed, through the past few years, many celebrities have opted for the Prand collections, whether they were mainstream (Bob Sinclar, Axwell, Black Eyed Peas, Just Jack, Pony Pony Run Run…), or much more underground (Steve Aoki, Mylo, Micky Green, Ariel Wizman…).
PRAND finally dissociates itself by its participation in international events such as F*** Me I' m Famous (summer 2008) or the Winter Music Conference 2009 of Miami (March 2009) where it has been the official partner for special mediatised parties. Moreover, the brand worked in collaboration with Universal Music (a recording company) to produce a series of tee-shirt bearing the effigy of Daniel Darc and sponsors some emissions on national radios (ie Fun Radio).
To conclude, PRAND is proud to highlight that it has always been working with British textiles producers and try, since the beginning, to support as much as possible the French industry with localising the creation, serigraphy as well as all the finishing touches.
